"I feel very fortunate that I have the opportunity to help someone start on their journey of improving their quality of life. Not only do I make new friends every month, but I also get to watch their progress. I notice how each week their attitudes improve. They gain better mobility. And I'm very excited when they tell me of their need for fewer medications. It is very rewarding, and I'm excited to be a part of the Solutions For Life team."
Rhonda Bly, Accounts Receivable Specialist, came to the Solutions For Life team after 28 years handling accounting and financial responsibilities for private businesses. Coming to Via Christi and Solutions For Life has been her first experience working with patient accounts in a medical clinic. During her career, she took time out to attend Wichita State University and to raise her two daughters.
Rhonda's motivation
"When patients call with questions about their accounts, I love being able to answer their questions accurately and intelligently. Every day I enter into our accounting software all the services we provide each patient, the payments they make to us, the services that we bill to their insurance provider, and the payments we receive from their insurance companies. My challenge is to do my work accurately and within 24 hours of each patient's visit. Nothing gripes me more than to have mistakes, so that I have to go back in and correct them! This makes our patients unhappy and it makes me very unhappy.
