The Pratt County Humane Society is extending a special adoption program for pets rescued after the Greensburg tornado.
The shelter is still looking for homes for more than 50 cats and now only two dogs. The animals will be available for adoption through the end of the week. After that they'll go to several shelters across the state.
The Humane Society director in Pratt says he'll work as hard as he can to make sure the animals are not put down.
