Letter carriers with the Wichita Post Office expect to see a number of smiling Harry Potter enthusiasts Saturday. The US Postal Service is delivering Harry's final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, on the official national release date.
Approximately two milliion of the three pound books will be delivered, 1450 of them in Wichita alone. The Postal Service says, it's handling delivery for five retailers and internet shippers which are shipping pre-ordered books.
No additional staff is being added for the Saturday delivery, but Postmaster Mark Talbott says they've done extensive planning and coordination to make sure that every one of the books it receives on time is delivered on time.
