Smart for Life Weight Management Centers" offers you direct physician care whose only focus is for you to lose weight and get healthier. As a result, our program allows you to benefit from the widest range of treatments available. Every person is different and has unique needs. As a result, each Smart for Life Weight Management client is guided through their customized weight loss program with the expertise of a caring physician and staff.
Our program features the use of our unique Smart products - cookies, shakes, and soup. The core product in our program is the Smart Cookie which is scientifically formulated to be balanced in fiber, protein, and carbohydrates - but low in fat. Our clients lose on average 12 to 15* lbs per month by eating our Smart Cookies and other products in addition to a healthy evening meal.
As a physician monitored program (you will see a physician regularly), the health and safety of our clients is our primary concern. As a result, our support services are designed to monitor the overall health of our clients. These support services include performing a Body Composition Analysis, consulting on medical history, and performing appropriate lab work as well as an electrocardiogram. As an added feature of our program, and included in our fees - our centers supply our clients with the vitamins and supplements they require as part of the program.

A number of our clients are prescribed medications to aid in their weight-loss program. Among these are hunger-suppressing medications. Not everyone is a candidate for these types of medications, and our physicians will carefully evaluate whether additional medications are advisable with each client.
METABOLISM TOO SLOW?
We have found that one out of four people are unable to lose weight because of an undiagnosed metabolic problem. Our doctors are specifically trained to diagnose these problems and treat them. Weight loss and weight maintenance is possible for these clients as well! And to save you time and money, when prescribed, these medications can be dispensed by our clinics - thus eliminating the need to have them filled at a pharmacy. Please note that like the vitamins and supplements, most medications are included in our basic fees.
