Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D) Massachusetts, collapses and is taken by stretcher from an inauguration luncheon for President Barack Obama.
A Capitol police officer stood up at the luncheon and said medical attention was needed.
Kennedy was diagnosed with cancer this summer, after doctors found a malignant tumor in his brain.
