Those who knew fallen Sedgwick County deputy Brian Etheridge are still looking for ways to help his family.
His former classmates at Wichita State's criminal justice program held a two day bake sale that ended Thursday afternoon.
The money raised will go to deputy Etheridge's family.
"It's a small thing that we can do, but it feels good to know there are so many people in the community and WSU that have a heart and I'm blessed to be part of that," says Kimberly Grimes with WSU's Criminal Justice Student Association.
The group says it raised about $1,500.
