Valley Center council members will talk about a proposed ordinance that would ban talking or texting on your cell phone while driving.
The ordinance was proposed by Valley Center Council Member Harry Gerling and drafted by City Manager Joel Pile.
Pile says he has received some feedback both for and against the proposed ordinance.
"I've heard from both angles...from people who are for it and who are against it. It will be interesting to see where the discussion goes," says Pile.
He says enforcement would be a challenge.
It's up for discussion and public comment at Tuesday's council meeting. That begins at 7:00 p.m. at Valley Center City Hall, 121 S. Meridian.
