Update:
The Saline County Sheriff's office says a third victim of Friday afternoon's crash passed away late Friday night.
The crash happened near the intersection of Lapsley & Simpson roads, south east of Assaria. Investigators say the driver of a Pontiac either ran the stop sign at the intersection, or stopped and then pulled out in front of an on-coming truck, causing the accident.
A man and a woman die and another person is hurt in a crash Friday afternoon in Saline County.
Capt. Brian Shea with the Saline Co. Sheriff's Office says a pickup and car collided in the southeast part of the county.
The crash happened just before three o'clock at the intersection of Lapsley and Simpson roads, two miles south and three miles east of Assaria. One person was taken to a Wichita hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
The names of the people who died have not been released.
