Linda stands taller than the other cows on Calvin Nisly's farm. A big girl, with a big story.
"She's been around the block, she's a street cow. She's savvy," describes her owner, Danny Brizendine.
But in order to understand what makes Linda special, you have to know her story, and it starts in the streets of South Hutchinson.
In April of last year, a vet told Nisly she'd never have calves, or produce milk. So, as she was being loaded up onto a trailer to go to the sale barn, she escaped.
While a group of men were trying to catch her, Brizendine offered to buy the cow from Nisly and ultimately spare her life.
