{WICHITA, Kan.) — The Wichita Wingnuts have partnered with the Carl Hall Family Benefit Fund to assist former Wichita State University baseball player Carl Hall.
Carl Hall Benefit Night takes place on Saturday, July 24th during the Wingnuts' contest versus St. Paul. A "Carl Hall Special" is currently being offered for the game where fans can purchase Lower Box seats for $10 (usually $12) and Upper Chairback seats for $8 (usually $9). $2 from every ticket sold to the game will be donated to the Carl Hall Family Benefit Fund. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
The Wingnuts are also offering ticket packages which include tickets to both the July 24th game as well as the University of Phoenix - Wichita Campus 2010 American Association All-Star Game on July 27th. Packages range from 10-200 tickets and include opportunities to throw out the first pitch at the July 24th Wingnuts game as well as signed Wingnuts memorabilia.
Hall was seriously injured in a car accident near Kingman, KS on Saturday, June 26th. Hall is currently at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital. Five other passangers were involved in the accident, including Hall's wife and three children, all of whom went uninjured. His condition has been upgraded from critical to stable and has shown positive signs of improvement.
