July 04, 2010|By Jenn Bates

{WICHITA, Kan.) — The Wichita Wingnuts will still hold their 4th of July Celebration Fireworks tonight.  Gates to Lawrence Dumont Stadium will open at 6pm.  The NBC Exhibition Game between the Haysville Heat and the Denver Cougars has been canceled, however we will show the movie “Cars” on the Video Board beginning at 6:30pm.  Following the movie, there will be a parade of flags presented by Alefs Harley Davidson followed by the National Anthem and concluding with our spectacular 4th of July Fireworks Show.  The 4th of July Celebration Fireworks are scheduled to begin shortly after 9pm.

Tickets for tonight’s event will be available for $5 at the gate.  If you have already purchased tickets for the NBC Exhibition game, they will be good for tonight’s fireworks AND also you will be able to trade them in for a regular season Wingnuts game or NBC World Series Session.
For more information, please contact the Wingnuts’ office at 264-NUTS.
