(WICHITA, Kan.) — Wichita's Intrust Bank Arena continues to make a profit. Sedgwick County Commissioners released a report detailing May revenue.
The arena generated around $400,000 in net income, which is what's left after paying the arena's bills. Since it opened in January, it's profited $1.6 million.
More than 43,000 people attended nine shows at the arena in May. That includes around 2,900 for Sarah Palin's fundraiser, 9,000 for Brooks and Dunn and 11,000 for Nickelback.
