(WICHITA, Kan.) — A brief police chase slows traffic along the canal route Wednesday morning. Wichita police and the Kansas Highway Patrol received a report of a reckless driver on I-135 near K-96.
The driver didn't stop and hit a semi truck at I-135 and Central. The driver then hit another vehicle on I-135 and Kellogg, causing a chain reaction.
One person and the driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say it's early in the investigation...but they're looking at whether the driver had a medical condition which could've contributed to the accident.
