(WICHITA, Kan.) — Call it crunch time for the campaigns.
“E-mails, phone calls and sign deliveries…it's exciting,” say Jerry Moran volunteer Gina Adams.
Behind every candidate is a team of volunteers. With less than day to go Jerry Moran’s campaign was on the phone. Todd Tiahrt’s volunteers lined 21st and Rock waving signs.
Last day tactics may vary, but both campaigns say now is not the time to sit back and watch.
“Push it to the last minute. We don't want to take any vote for granted,” says Todd Tiahrt volunteer Sherri Kahrs.
Neither campaign can afford to take a break.
The latest FactFinder 12 Scientific Survey shows Tiahrt gaining ground.
49% of voters say they'll vote for Jerry Moran.
39% say they plan to vote for Todd Tiahrt.
That’s the highest number Tiahrt has had so far. He’s gained about 10 points in the past two months.
