Martin to throw out first pitch for Royals

{MANHATTAN, Kan.} — Head coach Frank Martin will throw out the first pitch at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday, August 18, as the Kansas City Royals host the Cleveland Indians for K-State Day at 7:10 p.m. CT. Fans will be able to pick up season ticket information for the football and men's and women's basketball home seasons as well as the upcoming Wildcat sporting events in Kansas City in the Outfield Experience. K-State will play Iowa State in football at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, September 18 then UNLV in men's basketball at the Sprint Center on Tuesday, December 21. It will also be Buck Night at the K, where fans can get hot dogs, small Pepsi drinks, peanuts, Twinkies, Gameday magazines and Scorecards for $1.  Tickets can be purchased at www.kansascity.royals.mlb.com.
