BlackTop Nationals continue this weekend

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Thousands of people are expected in Wichita this week for the BlackTop Nationals.

The 4-day event brings together car, truck and bike lovers from all over the country. The event raises money for charity.

Wichita will host more than 4,000 cars, trucks, bikes and their owners. BlackTop Nationals will feature a premier car and bike show with a cash award and prizes in more than 13 areas.

BTN will also host a collector car and motorcycle auction featuring rare and exotic cars, bikes and purpose vehicles to auctioned off for charity. Money raised will go to the Kansas Aviation Museum, McPherson College Restoration Program and the Wichita Children’s Home.

Attendees can participate in two cruise nights.

On Friday night, participants can cruise through Park City. On Saturday night, the cruise heads down Douglas.

Other events include open autocross, Drifting Exhibition, opening night Black Demin and Diamonds Cocktails at Century II Convention Hall, Art Gallery, Home and Style Expo, Manufacturers Midway, food and beer gardens.

For motorcycles, the BTN will host the Fallen Heroes ride to honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice, a Poker Run, Destination Rides, and a Vintage Flat Track Racing at 81 Speedway.
