Hutch and Butler win big

Butler Community College pounded Fort Scott Community College this afternoon in Fort Scott, 49-7 to keep them on the winning track.

Quarterback Zach Mettenberger threw two touchdown passes to Jasper Sanders and Marcus Kennard as the Grizzlies rolled to their second win of the season.

They return home for Highland Community College next Saturday.

Hutchinson Community College also remained on a hot streak, topping Independence Community College 55-26 in Independence, Kan.

Independence actually led 12-7 after the first quarter before the Blue Dragons turned it on in the second half.

Air Force Prep comes to Gowans Stadium next Saturday.
