Two charged in robbery of Wichita Legacy Bank

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Federal prosecutors charge Carlis D. Rogers, 25, and Jacques D. Dubose, 41, with one count of bank robbery and one count of brandishing firearms during a bank robbery.

The indictment says on September 10, Rogers and Dubose robbed the Legacy Bank at 2055 N. Woodlawn in Wichita.

If convicted, they face a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on the bank robbery charge and not less than seven years and not more than life on the firearms charge.

Police are looking for the three men who robbed a northeast Wichita bank Friday morning.

Authorities say the men entered the Legacy Bank branch at 2055 N. Woodlawn just before ten o'clock. A 911 dispatcher says they were wearing masks and told tellers they had a gun.

No one was hurt.

Friday afternoon police were questioning two men about the robbery.

Authorities say the suspects left in either a blue or dark grey Oldsmobile Cutlass.
