(DODGE CITY, Kan.) — An Arkansas man is in stable condition after being involved in an accident involving a noose at the Boot Hill Museum in Dodge City.
Authorities say the 69-year-old man put his head into a noose to have his photograph taken at the historic site Wednesday afternoon.
During this time he lost consciousness and slumped into the noose. Two women with the man were unable to remove him. They were able to get help from people at the museum who removed the man from the noose.
When Dodge City police arrived, the man was being attended to by emergency medical personnel. He was arrived on the scene and transported to the Western Plains Regional Medical Center.
