(WICHITA, Kan.) — Machinists union spokesman Bob Wood tells Eyewitness news that Hawker Beechcraft expects to have a final contract offer to the union sometime Tuesday.
Members will vote October 9 at the Kansas Coliseum.
The union agreed to open negotiations a year early because the company says it has to cut costs.
Hawker Beechcraft has had offers to relocate much of its work to Mississippi and Louisiana.
