(TOPEKA, Kan.) — The Kansas Lottery has kicked off another season of its Holiday Millionaire Raffle. Tickets for the raffle are $20 and go on sale October 1.

Only 150,000 tickets are available through Kansas Lottery retailers. The lottery says the tickets are printed in numerical order throughout the state, once the last raffle number is issued, no others will be available.

Sales of raffle tickets will continue until the game is sold out, or until December 29, whichever comes first.  If the game is not a sell-out, prizes will be become pari-mutuel.

This is the second Holiday Millionaire Raffle for the Kansas Lottery. Last year, it took just 38 days for the raffle to sell out, weeks ahead of the drawing. The $1 million grand prize was won by Victoria Mason of Wichita with a ticket she purchased on the second day of sales.

The raffle drawing is set for December 30. One lucky ticket holder will win one million dollars. There are also five $50,000 prizes and 500 $500 prizes.
