(WICHITA, Kan.) — Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport reports a record September. The city says passenger traffic jumped nearly 6% between September of 2009 and September of 2010.
The total number of passengers flying in and out of Wichita in September was 132,310 according to the city. The previous September record was set in 2007 with 125,881 total passengers.
The city says passenger traffic is up for the year as well. The airport has seen a 2.59% increase over 2009.
