Clouds will be on the increase tonight as our next storm system gets closer to Kansas. A cold front is expected to reach northwest Kansas early Monday, changing the winds to the north and bringing in some MUCH cooler air.
Central Kansas will have another warm day Monday with temperatures well into the 70s and it will be windy with south winds gusting to 35 mph at times. Clouds will increase throughout the day, and when the cold front pushes through Monday evening, scattered rain showers will be possible.
It will be much cooler Tuesday through Friday with dry weather expected. Frost may end the growing season for several areas Wednesday or Thursday morning, so check back for updates.
