(WICHITA, Kan.) — A man is in fair condition after he was shot late last night. He underwent surgery for injuries to his shoulder and stomach.
About ten o'clock Friday night, police were investigating a disturbance at a family gathering in the 600 block of N. Poplar.
Police say shortly after a man from the family showed up at a Wichita hospital with gunshot wounds. They say he was shot in his car in front of the home on poplar. The 43-year-old was in critical condition when he drove himself to the hospital.
Police say a 39-year-old man is being questioned.
