Storm Team 12: Warmer and windier

December 28, 2010|By Chief Meteorologist Merril Teller | Storm Team 12

Skies will become partly cloudy overnight in western Kansas while the central and eastern parts of the state will stay cloudy.  South winds will still be on the light side through the night, but will really crank up during the day Wednesday.  That will help temperatures warm into the 50s over most of the state, even with mostly cloudy skies.

Windy conditions will continue into Thursday as will the mild conditions. (except in the far northwest, where it will be cooler on Thursday.)

Get ready for a BIG change on Friday.
