WICHITA, Kan. — Gas prices in Wichita jumped 10 cents overnight. Most gas stations in the area are selling a gallon of regular unleaded for $2.89.
Meanwhile, the former president of Shell Oil preducts gas prices could jump to $5 a gallon nationwide by 2012.
Right now, gas prices are the highest he's ever seen for this time of year averaging just over $3 a gallon nationwide.
