Victim in Wednesday night shooting dies at Wichita hospital

(WICHITA, Kan.) — A 30-year-old man shot Wednesday night and dropped off at Wesley Medical Center has died. The man was shot twice, once in his arm and once in his left side.

Police have not made any arrests. It's believed the shooting happened in the 1800 block of N. Minneapolis.

Investigators are trying to locate the driver who dropped the man off at the hospital. Police say they don't believe the driver had anything to do with the shooting.

Investigators eviewed surveillance tapes from the hospital and it appears the vehicle was a blue Chevrolet Uplander.
