East High student brings gun to school

(WICHITA, Kan.) — A Wichita East High School student is arrested -- after he brings a gun to school today.

A spokesperson for the district says another student noticed the gun in the student's pocket...and notified a school resource officer.

There was no threat and the gun wasn't loaded.

The school will practice its zero-tolerance policy in disciplining the student.
