Federal agents from the Food and Drug Administration seize herbal potpourri from a Salina business.

Our news partners at The Salina Journal report that three FDA agents along with officers from the Salina Police Department executed search warrants at buildings owned by The Grind Thursday morning.

The addresses are 301 W. Ash and a warehouse at 701 Bishop in Salina.

Authorities arrested 42-year-old Eric Srack on three counts of distribution of the compound JWH-081, which is a synthetic form of the chemical Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in marijuana. Authorities say the arresting charges stem from a sale on December 22, 2010.

A bill is currently in Kansas legislature that would ban synthetic cannabinoids in the potpourri.
