A woman is taken to the hospital in serious condition after an apartment fire in Southeast Wichita.
It happened just after 5 o'clock Saturday evening in the 3300 block of East 31st South. That is at the Southern Hills Apartment Complex.
Officers say the victim suffered from smoke inhalation.
