Missouri State defeats the Shockers 69-64, winning the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title for the first time.
Jermaine Mallett scored 18 points and Adam Leonard had 17 to lead the Bears. David Kyles of Wichita State led all scorers with 20 points but he was the only Shocker in double figures.
Missouri State will be the number 1 seed in next weeks Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. Wichita State will be the 2 seed. The tournament begins in St. Louis on Thursday, March 3rd.
