(BARTON CO., Kan) — One person is killed in a two vehicle accident in rural Stafford County.
The accident happened shortly after noon at the intersection of Highway 281 & K-19.
The St. John News reports a Dodge SUV was East-bound on K-19, and failed to stop at a stop sign. It was hit by a North-bound Escalade pulling a large trailer.
The driver of the Escalade was killed. The passenger, and the driver of the other SUV were transported to the Great Bend Hospital for treatment.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
