Storm Team 12: Mild start to March

Winds will be out of the south overnight and temperatures are expected to drop back into the 20s across the state for lows.

A sunny or mostly sunny sky will be the rule for Tuesday with temperatures getting back above normal to start the new month. Average highs are close to 50 for March 1st, but much of the state will see highs in the 60-65 degree range. Northwest Kansas may stay in the upper 50s.

The winds will be turning back to the north tomorrow evening as a cold front moves across the area. Temperatures will drop into the 40s and 50s for Wednesday afternoon, but the next cool down will not be accompanied by any rain or snow.
