(WICHITA, Kan.) — A memorial has been placed at the site where a boy died following an accident in southwest Wichita.
The accident happened 4:45 Friday afternoon near the intersection of Skinner & Silver.
Investigators say the 15-year-old driver was driving on a dirt road when he lost control and hit a curb. The van then rolled and an 11-year-old boy was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other passengers, all 15-years-old, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
