Kansas' Self named Big 12 Coach of the Year

Kansas Jayhawks head coach Bill Self has been named the Big 12 Coach of the Year.  Self has helped lead his 2nd ranked Jayhawks team to a 29-2 record and their third straight outright Big 12 regular season title.  This is the Jayhawk's 7th straight year claiming at least a share of the conference regular season title.

Kansas is the top seed in this weekend's Big 12 tournament.  They will face the winner of Nebraska vs. Oklahoma State in the second round.
