(WICHITA, Kan.) — A leader for the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce and Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition (GWEDC) has resigned.

Vicki Pratt Gerbino has served as president of the GWEDC and the vice president of economic development for the chamber for the past three years.

No reason was given for the resignation.

Suzie Ahlstrand, interim President and CEO of the Chamber, will lead the internal GWEDC team of five staff. David Bossemeyer and Debra Teufel, both managing directors of business development, will take on additional leadership responsibilities in recruitment and retention projects. In addition, the entire staff will continue to market the region, conduct business retention visits through the IDEA program and respond to prospects, in addition to other ongoing initiatives.
