(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — The Kansas Jayhawks have defeated the Texas Longhorns 85-73 for the Big 12 Championship.
The win gives the Jayhawks an automatic birth in the NCAA Tournament and all but assures them of a number one seed.
Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor led the way with 20 points. Marcus Morris had 17 and his brother Markieff finished with 14 and 9 rebounds.
Jordan Hamilton has 19 points to lead the Texas Longhorns.
