(WICHITA, Kan.) — A Wichita man is in stable condition after he is shot early Sunday morning.
Wichita Police officers report hearing 6 to 7 gunshots while patrolling in the area of 21st St. & Grove St.
While they were canvassing the area, they received a report of a victim at the 2400 block of East Shadybrook.
Officers found the victim inside a residence with 3 gunshot wounds to his leg. He was rushed to Wesley Medical Center for treatment. He is expected to recover.
The victim told investigators he was confronted by two men he did not know, and was shot.
So far, no one has been arrested.
