(Wichita, Kan.) — Daniel Bustos was in Sedgwick County Court Wednesday for his preliminary hearing. Bustos waived his right to a preliminary hearing, which means the case will automatically go to trial.
His trial is set for July 18.

Daniel Bustos, a North High School technology assistant, was officially charged on Friday with unlawful sexual relations and possession of cocaine and marijuana.
Bustos was arrested on March 4, accused of having unlawful sexual relations with a student.
USD 259 suspended Bustos with pay at the time of his arrest, pending the outcome of the trial.
