Three men arrested after chase in N. Wichita

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Wichita police arrested three men after a short chase early Friday in north Wichita.  

Police say it started around two o'clock in the morning when an officer hit his brakes to avoid colliding with a car at 25th and Holyoke. 

The officer pulled the car over and called for backup. The car drove off. The three men inside jumped out at 25th and Minnesota. The men ran into a house but police went in and arrested them.

The 19-year-old driver had outstanding warrants. Officers found a gun and drugs inside the car.

No one was hurt and no property was damaged during the chase.
