TULSA, Okla. — The Wichita Thunder lost 4-2 to the Tulsa Oilers at the BOK Center on Saturday night.

Chris Greene helped the Thunder grab a first period lead, scoring shorthanded at 11:06. Greene grabbed a loose puck at the Wichita blue line, worked up the ice, and faked out Oilers' goaltender Ian Keserich with a shot under his left pad.

Tulsa ran off three straight goals in the third to take a 3-1 advantage, including two scores separated by just 50 seconds. After Marty Magers made a great kick save on a shot from Jack Combs, Combs snuck his own rebound past Magers' left to tie the game at 2:22. At 3:12 in the period, Luke Lucyk scored from close range to give Tulsa a 2-1 lead. Chad Costello scored Tulsa's third unanswered goal at 13:09, finishing off a two-on-one rush started by Combs. Andrew Martens scored a key goal with 28 seconds left in the period to cut the lead to 3-2. Martens connected on a one-timer from the right point that was setup by Kory Scoran.

Combs scored his second of the night at 11:46 in the third to make it 4-2 Tulsa. Combs ripped a shot from the right half boards past Magers during a power play.

Magers took the loss, saving 20 of 24. Keserich earned the win, stopping 37 of 39 and finishes the season 6-1-0 against the Thunder. Wichita was 0 for 7 on the power play. Tulsa was 1 for 8.

Prior to the game, the Wichita Thunder alumni topped the Oilers alumni for a second time in as many meetings this year, winning 8-7.

The Thunder closes the regular season on Sunday versus the Mississippi RiverKings at 5:05 p.m.
