More than 100 vehicles stopped at Hutchinson DUI checkpoint

(HUTCHINSON, Kan.) — The Hutchinson Police Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol conducted a DUI sobriety checkpoint March 26th and 27th in the 2000 blk of North Severance in Hutchinson.

Police say they stopped 104 vehicles at the checkpoint.  11 drivers were tested for impairment and two were arrested for DUI.

Four drivers were charged with underage consumption and six are accused of illegally transporting open containers.
