14% Turnout expected for Tuesday's election

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Sedgwick County election officials expect a 14 percent voter turnout for the general election April 5.

The general election includes races for Wichita mayor, Wichita city council and Wichita school board.

Only around 8 percent of registered voters in Sedgwick County turned out for the primary election for this race.

The election office is offering its usual advance voting options, including advance voting by mail and satellite voting locations which will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Sedgwick County.
