Storm Team 12: Storms winding down

April 09, 2011|By Meteorologist Rodney Price | Storm Team 12

Storms will continue to weaken overnight across central Kansas.  Elsewhere, expect partly cloudy skies.

We expect windy and dry conditions on Sunday, leading to extreme fire danger concerns.  Southwest to northwest winds will gust over 40 and 45 mph at times.  Look for cooler conditions tomorrow with highs in the 50s, 60s and 70 across the state.  Look for some showers in the northwest, while the rest of Kansas will likely stay dry.

Less wind and pleasant temperatures will be on tap to start the work week.
