Storm Team 12: Great weekend finale

April 16, 2011|By Meteorologist Rodney Price | Storm Team 12

It turned out to be a beautiful Saturday with lots of sunshine, along with occasional clouds, especially in the northwest part of the state.  Expect a few clouds to form overnight across the area as lows dip down into the 30s and 40s.

Look for another spectacular day on Sunday, with even warmer temperatures.  We'll see some high clouds and generally south to southwest winds as highs reach the 70s and 80s.  Thicker clouds are expected in the northwest by the end of the day and could be accompanied by some light showers.

Rain chances will be on the increase late Monday into Tuesday as the next storm system approaches.  A break is expected on Wednesday but then rain chances increase again Thursday and Friday.
