A weak cold front will stall out along the Kansas-Oklahoma border Monday morning shifting our winds back to the north under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
We can expect increasing clouds late Monday as a storm system approaches from the west. Winds will turn back to the southeast during Monday afternoon with highs reaching the 70s around south-central Kansas while the far southwest corner will see some 80s. Areas north of I-70 may not get above 70 degrees as clouds will be a little thicker in those locations.
Scattered showers and storms are on the way for much of central and northern Kansas Monday night. Tuesday look for scattered rain showers with gusty north winds and cooler temperatures for most of Kansas.
