Gusty winds over Kansas will simmer down a bit overnight as a cold front moves southeast. Moisture is rather limited with this system and rain chances will be confined generally to the north of I-70. Lows overnight will drop to the upper 30s in the northwest, 40s from the southwest to northcentral and the lower 50s in southcentral and southeast.
Clouds will thin across the area Thursday and a cooler day will be in the works. Highs will reach the upper 60s to the lower 70s over the state.
A big time warm up is forecast for Friday and through the weekend and early next week. Highs will reach the 80s and 90s! There will be a chance of storms next Tuesday and Wednesday.
