{OMAHA, Neb.} — The Wichita State Shockers are the #2 seed in this year's Missouri Valley baseball tournament. The Shockers will play No. 7 Evansville in the 12:30 game next Tuesday in Omaha.
The Creighton Blue Jays defeated Missouri State 3-1 this afternoon to earn the top seed in this year's Valley Tournament.
Some good news for the Shockers is that Tim Kelley threw a full bull-pen session last week and will be available for a couple of innings during next week's tournament.
Wichita State won the series with the Purple Aces earlier this season taking two of three from Evansville.
