(HAVEN, Kan.) — The Haven School District has voted to close down the Mount Hope school building to try and fix the budget problems the school is having.
Officials hope to save as much as $450,000 by doing so. The school closing is in addition to seven teachers being told they will not be returning because of cuts.
That announcement was made earlier this month.
