Fire tears through abandoned Rhode Island mill

(WOONSOCKET, R.I.) — Crews are battling a seven-alarm fire in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, near Providence tonight at an abandoned mill. One firefighter is hurt.
     
Those on the scene report hearing explosions inside the building and seeing walls of brick fall to the ground. Police evacuated several neighborhoods near the fire.
